Author Tiffany Williford wrote Daddy Has an Owie for her young daughter when her late husband was battling colorectal cancer and going through chemotherapy. Daddy Has an Owie was created to help parents talk to their children about the heavy topic of cancer in a light and child-friendly way. Inspired by her own daughter, the main character learns about her father's cancer and what it means for him and for her. With its heartfelt and whimsical illustrations, Daddy Has an Owie is a great book for any parent, caregiver, or grandparent looking for help with explaining cancer to a child. The Colorectal Cancer Alliance is proud to partner with Fifth Season Financial, a licensed consumer lender that provides financial assistance to individuals with an advanced staged illness. Fifth Season's FLAG (Funds for Living and Giving) Program provides patients with money from a nontraditional asset - their existing life insurance policy - to devote to the things that matter most. Fifth Season will make a donation equal to $500 for each funded Funds for Living and Giving (FLAG) Program referral made by the Alliance. A funded case is defined as a permanent resident of the United States with Stage III or IV colorectal cancer and a life insurance policy with a face value of at least $50,000 who completes and submits a Fifth Season's FLAG application that is funded.

When photographer, Scott Wilson, was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer and was told chemotherapy meant avoiding direct sunlight, placing serious constraints on his landscape photography career, he set about creating a new Colorado wildlife portfolio, shot entirely Through the Window of his car. The result is a compelling visual journey through Scott’s year-long triumph over cancer, filled with mini anecdotes of some of the challenges, such as neuropathy, which he overcame to combine his passion for photography with a ‘survivor mindset’. Scott Wilson donates 100% of the sale price from each purchase (minus the applicable shipping denoted on the purchase page) to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance.
